So much Sports action coming your way
The weekend is almost upon us, which means, it’s time talk about what you should be looking out for in the wide world of sport.
Let’s start with some congratulations. Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson has announced he shall retire at the end of the season. Love him or hate him, Sir Alex is one hell of a coach. We bet the rest of the premier league sides are very happy with the news, because maybe now they might have a better shot at winning more titles.
To the AFL and we have one hell of a match on our hands this weekend. The 2 undefeated sides Essendon and Geelong will face off against each other in what will be a great game to watch. Who will win? Well, I have no idea, it’s a little to close for me to call, but if you’re a betting man, I think the bombers just might get up.
In the NRL, the Sydney Roosters who sit 3rd on the ladder will face the Manly Sea Eagles who sit 4th on the ladder. This is going to be one explosive game. I hate Manly with a passion, so I’m really hoping that Sonny Bill Williams and his Roosters smash Manly and soften up for the mighty Melbourne Storm, who face Manly in the next round.
Now lets head to the States and in the NBA, one of the leagues greatest rivalries is on again. The New York Knicks are facing off against the Indiana Pacers. The series is already tied at 1 game a piece and you can just tell that the series is going to be decided in a game 7.
Because it’s almost winter, we thought we should warm you up a little, with some sweet Surf action.
