A Weekend Full of BIG Games

Yep that sure is right, there is nothing but BIG games on this weekend. Where does one start? Why not start with the Football.

The A-League Finals kick off this Friday night, with the Melbourne Victory taking on the Perth Glory. Because we’re Victorians we are going to have to back the Victory, but all we know is Eithad Stadium is going to be crazy and we’re set for one hell of a game. The other final on Saturday night is the Brisbane Roar vs Adelaide United. This game can go either way, it’s to tough for us to call, but if you’re a betting man and you have to pick some one, I’d say Brisbane just might come away with the win.

In other Football news, we have to mention some big news just in case you haven’t heard it yet. Liverpool FC are making there way down to Australia in July to take on the Melbourne Victory at the MCG. This will be the first time Liverpool will play on Australian soil. So if you’re a Football fan we know you’ll be getting a tix to this!

In AFL news, there is only one real talking point about round 2 and that is of course the big one Carlton vs Collingwood, sure there might be other games on, but serious there is really no other game on this round that is going to pull a crowd of over 80,000 people. Mick Malthouse will be coaching the Blues against his old side Collingwood, which is really the big talking point of the game. All we’re really looking forward to is the punch on’s, who’s going to win? We don’t really have a clue, but we’d like to see the Blues get the win.

In the Super Rugby, all eyes are on the Rebels vs Force game. Is Kurtley Beale going to make his come back this round after punching on with his team mates in South Africa? Well after the Rebels performance in South Africa, they sure could use services on the field. Lets hope Kurtley makes peace with his team mates, so they can all get along and win some games, starting with the Force this Saturday in Perth.

In NRL news, we’re just fired up about the Storms first Monday night game against the West Tigers, who have one of the best players ever, New Zealand Captain Benji Marshall. The Storm v Tigers games are always a great game and we’re hoping the Storm smash the Tigers this Monday night.

Did we mention we love the Lingerie Football League, well if we didn’t, here is a bloody good reason why we love it.
