You’ve gotta love all this sport action going on.
There is so much going on in the sporting world and seriously we are loving it!
Where do we start? Well let’s just take the time to look at the AFL ladder. Who would have thought after five rounds that Essendon and Port Adelaide would be the top 2 teams in the competition, certainly not us, but we love it! It is going to make for one hell of an interesting season.
The NFL draft has just been and gone and young Aussie, Jesse Williams has been drafted to the Seattle Seahawks! Keep an eye out for this bloke, he can certainly make some waves over there in the US.
Super Rugby time and the Melbourne Rebels are set to decide whether or not Kurtley Beale will join the side against the Chiefs this Friday night at Aami Park. I for one believe that the players should put the incident in South Africa behind them and get Kurtley back on the field.
In the NBA, one of this years favourites to take out the title have been taken out of the NBA playoffs in the first round. The San Antonio Spurs have demolished the LA Lakers. Sure the Lakers didn’t have Kobe or Nash, but the Spurs were just to good and if those 2 players were in the side, the Spurs still would have smashed them.
In the IPL, the mighty Chris Gayle smashed 175 runs not out off 66 balls. He was the fastest person to score a century in T20 cricket. It only took 30 ballsto get his century. It’s a shame he couldn’t find this form over here in the Big Bash earlier this summer.
In boxing, the self-proclaimed greatest boxer of all time Floyd Mayweather Jr, will take on Robert Guerrero down at the MGM Grand in Vegas this weekend. Floyd is fresh out of jail and ready to show the world that he still is the greatest. So if you love a bit of biffo, make sure you tune into this fight, it will surely be something to watch.
How good does tennis player Maria Kirilenko look in a bikini? Pretty sweet, don’t ya think!
